From the promoter: Well, I'm not sure but I think this whole concept may have been birthed by the Rev. Dave Johnson and his crew (who have a myspace profile dedicated to it and, of course, and upcoming collected book from Image), but regardless...it's a damn fine idea, and one that needs to be exploited in more placed than either of the major coasts of this here U.S. of A. That said, I invite ya'll to attend the Drink & Draw Midwest at the 75th St. Brewery in Kansas City (see attached address) and to bring your liquor money, your sailor talk, and some drawin' sticks! I'll provide some things that ya'll can draw on, and then we'll have accomplished three things: 1.) Meet local creators, thus making friends and networking with like-minded individuals, 2.) Produce shite-ton of fun drawin's that we can then scan in and put up on a site not unlike the Rev. Dave's...which will be accompanied by photos to document the debauchery, 3.) Get seriously krunked up, thus blurring all memories of the night in questions (thus the need for number two). So, are you in?
