Jamaica's The Itals have been playing reggae music since the '70s, impressing selective listeners like Keith Richards (who included the group's song "In a Dis Ya Time" on the Rolling Stones Artists' Choice CD) and racking up Grammy awards (1987 Best Reggae Album). The group is fronted by smooth lead vocalist Keith Porter and an array of harmony voices. Though the group's lineup has changed throughout the years, Porter and company still come highly recommended for fans of true-roots reggae and old-school dancehall reggae.
