Description: Lawrence popsters Ghosty have spent much of the last year touring as well as taking on ambitious projects like learning a whole set's worth of Big Star songs (singer/guitarist Andrew Connor also backed Domino Records' Benjy Ferree for a string of dates). The veteran five-piece utilizes two guitars, keyboards and harmonies to flesh out Andrew Connor's Elliott Smith-inspired pop songs, which found solid new footing on a recent self-released EP dubbed "No Nothing."
Openers Gowns features members of Amps for Christ and Mae Shi treading experimental folk pastures infused with computer blips and the occasional "rock band" mask.
