Ween Tribute Night
with Deadman Flats / The F Holes / Guse / Log Lady / Noise Complaint
When: Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, 9:30 p.m.
Where: The Jazzhaus, 926 1/2 Mass., Lawrence
Cost: $3
Age limit: 21+
Categories: Music | Americana, Rock
Description: Who doesn't like Ween? Well, Pizza Hut for one, and maybe the Christian Coalition of America, and possibly John Tesh. Elsewhere, Dean and Gene Ween are two of the most universally deified goofs in modern music, penning nitrous-addled classics like "Don't Shit Where You Eat" and "Spinal Meningitis (Got Me Down)." Tonight, five Lawrence bands attempt to channel the magic of the duo's wacky catalog. All hail GodWeenSatan.
