Description: Maceli’s banquet hall will host a Guitar Hero Corporate Challenge on Thursday, September 13, 2007 to benefit the United Way of Douglas County. The event is to be held in conjunction with the United Way’s upcoming “It takes all of us to make a difference” annual fund raising campaign. The guest host of the event will be Tim VonHolten of TurnPike, which airs on Sunflower Broadband, channel 6.
The event is a 21-and-over event and is open to the public. It will be held at Maceli’s, 1031 New Hampshire at 6:00 pm. Entry fee for competing teams of four is $80 per 4-person team with pre-registration or $100 at the door. Admission for non-team members is $5 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Douglas County. Event is limited to 20 teams and advanced registration is recommended in order to compete.
