Description: UBC boxer and University of Haskell alumnus Marcus Oliveira will turn up the heat when he faces Harold "The Cobra" Roberts in a six round bout at Harrah's North Kansas City on Saturday, September 29th.

This up-and-coming Light Heavyweight prospect ended his last bout with a second round stoppage over tough, and highly experienced Buck Smith in Topeka, Kansas. Oliveira is looking for another impressive win over a slick and crafty challenger in Roberts. Like Smith, Harold Roberts (18-5-1) has an impressive set of credentials, including a former WBF Intercontinental Super Middleweight Title and more than twice as many fights as his Oliveira. Roberts is looking to use Oliveria's growing popularity to swing the momentum back in his favor and the recognition towards rejuvenating a promising career that once held hopes of a major world title. Oliveira on the other hand, has an undefeated record (10-0) and another big win in mind. All of that considered, this battle has all of the makings of an action-packed collision of heart, mind, will and skill...and, once the opening bell rings, it will all meet head on to determine the outcome.
