"Hitting the Bricks to Stop AIDS" DCAP AIDS Walk 2008

Description: Douglas County AIDS Project (DCAP) will be hosting AIDS Walk 2008 on Saturday, April 12th, 2008. This year we will have both a 1-mile walk and a 5k run. Both step off at Maceli’s (1031 New Hampshire, Lawrence, KS). Registration opens at 7:00 am. The walk route goes through Downtown Lawrence and will conclude with a free brunch and awards ceremony at Maceli’s. All proceeds of the walk will go to support the services of DCAP, which include case management for those who are HIV+, HIV prevention education to the community and free HIV counseling and testing.
