Description: From the organizers: The TherapyWorks Lawrence Half Marathon and 5k will start at Haskell and run throughout Lawrence. Traffic will be restricted so runners can run down Mass. St. and Memorial Drive and Jayhawk Blvd. on the KU Campus. The runners will run by historic sites such as the former homes of Langston Hughes, William Burroughs, John Haskell, and John Speer; Hobb's park, James Naismith's grave, Old West Lawrence, the Gazebo in South Park, etc. It will showcase Lawrence, and already has attracted runners from around the country.
8:00 a.m. ½ Marathon Run
8:05 a.m. 5K Run
8:15 a.m. 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
