From Konsept: The SELECTED MIDWEST TOUR will be hitting NEON DANCE PARTY!
The tour features KONSEPT (Chicago-Primetime Of Your Life, Lawrence-NEON) and POPSTATIC (Chicago-Primetime Of Your Life, Samurai FM) on 4 turntables playing a rare mixture of dance tunes, young, old, popular and obscure.
NEON will be the 4th stop on their tour. Having played alongside acts like Spank Rock and Soviet Panda on this Midwest run, this Lawrence date will the one that means the most.
On this night the turntables will be patched directly into a Pro-Tools set up to record the performance and there will also be microphones set up throughout the audience to capture the crowd reaction as it happens!!!
Never has a DJ set been taped in the 7 years that NEON has been around. This will definitely be a NEON first. We are hoping to release the recording as a "LIVE @ NEON CD".
We want everyone, whether you used to go to NEON, currently go or have never been to make it out to this night.
It'll be one for the books.
