Octarium is Latin for "Eight as One" and that pretty much defines the mission of this Kansas City-based vocal group: eight singers, one choral voice. The ensemble - which is rife with KU ties - admits being committed to "fostering and promoting the development and appreciation of the art of choral music through innovative and engaging programming, seeking to inspire, enlighten and educate." Octarium performs at 7:30 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1245 N.H.
