From the organizers: We are proud to announce the start of the Midwest's newest BYOC LAN. We will be hosting "Rock Chalk LAN" on November 22nd and 23rd in the Ballroom at the Kansas Union. We will be able to hold up to 150 people in the BYOC, and hope to fill every seat. Doors will open at 7 AM on the 22nd and close at 2 AM. We will open back up at 7 on Sunday the 23rd and run till about 5. Anyone over 17 is welcome! We are looking at including minor permission forms if there is enough interest. Any game you want to can be played. Whatever your genre may be, you should be able to find someone to play with among the attendees. We will also host two "official" tournaments: Counterstrike 1.6 and Warcraft III: DOTA.All of the official RCL staff will be on a volunteer basis, and we don't plan on making any money from this, therefore all entry fee's will be going right back to the attendees in some way shape or form. We are still ironing out a few sponsorships, but we could be bringing some big names to the first RCL to add to the list of prizes. We hope this will only be the first of a line of successful RCL's.
