Description: A diverse group of Lawrence-area artists/poets get together for what is essentially a one-night extravaganza in the name of our Exes. So many emotions apply to the people who were once so connected to us … anger, sadness, bitterness, thoughtfulness, nostalgia, appreciation. Let’s explore them all.
So, instead of the usual heart-shaped box of chocolates, the fancy dinners, the roses, the all-too-often empty gestures ... let's go back in time, dig up some dirt, do some mining and air our dirty laundry. We all have them: ex-lovers, ex-partners, ex-friends. What better night than Valentine’s Day?
Food, drinks, activities provided.
Please bring mix tapes and something from your past to throw on the
sacrificial alter.
