Description: “Crossroads: Midwestern Views” is the theme for CornerBank’s upcoming art show featuring Daniel W. Coburn’s photographic works and Zak Barnes’ paintings in oil. The subject matter selected by both artists intersects in rural scenes and roadways, but with Coburn’s mostly black & white photography and Barnes’ oil color palette, the works evoke different views of the Midwest.
The public is invited to attend a reception on Friday, January 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at CornerBank, 4621 West 6th Street in Lawrence.
The show runs January 9 through February 29 and may be viewed anytime during CornerBank’s hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
