Mark Hennessy, Mike Slurry, Brody Buster, and Justin Parr compose Lawrence's 1950 D.A. (a slightly different incarnation of which was known briefly as The Diamond Heart Club). The band is, at base, a rock-n-roll outfit oscillating between aggressiveness and passivity with lyrics that tell a story. Hennessy recently returned to Lawrence after spending some years in Poland, whereupon he published a book of poetry titled "Cue the Bedlam" and reignited his passion for performing. As anyone who recalls his days fronting Paw can attest, things can get out-of-hand in a heartbeat.Charles S. McVey will be performing with his band.
