Description: Formed in 1996, O.A.R. (...of a Revolution) has steadily become one of rock's most successful touring acts. Led by Marc Roberge along with friends and musicians who met at Ohio State, the group initially gained notoriety through live recordings traded around their alma mater and other universities around the country. The band's energetic blend of politically tinged folk, roots rock, and reggae caught on quickly, bolstered by their oft-updated and highly interactive website. Like frequent touring partners Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R. has released a spate of live albums, online videos, and DVDs in addition to studio work to appease their rabid fanbase. Even able to boast a street team, O.A.R. is a festival favorite that is sure to be remembered among jam elites like DMB, String Cheese Incident, and Phil Lesh & Friends.
