Description: El Paso Hot Button is a one-man band from Norman, Okla., who kicks drums with his feet and plays wicked electric guitar with his hands. Alternately recalling the White Stripes and artier acts like Enon, EPHB is more about cool songs than flashy performances, though he performs some nifty jump tricks on stage.
Tour mates Callupsie have a firm handle on the kind of interweaving guitar juju that Minus the Bear and Chin Up Chin Up trademarked, blending that with serene vocals and chunky drum beats. The group's debut self-titled album featured production from Stephen Egerton of the Descendents and cheerleading from fellow Tulsans Aqueduct.
