The Kansas Turnpike Authority will conduct an informational meeting on Tuesday about the construction work going on in Lawrence.The meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Lawrence Visitors Center, 402 N. Second St.KTA representatives will discuss the latest information about the replacement of the Kansas River Bridges on the turnpike and the Lawrence turnpike plaza improvements.On Tuesday, westbound access to and from the West Lawrence interchange was closed.If you want to attend, KTA asks you to make a reservation by calling Judy Gilchrist at 842-7420, extension 2272.
