What you been waiting for:
The difference between our show and a traditional VJ set is that we add custom visual collages to go along with live DJing and "mash-ups" using multiple turntables. Everything moves quickly and in-sync. This is not a normal or predictable 2 channel video DJ set, or simply playing a movie on a projector.
We offer seasoned club goers and early adopters that edge to keep things fun on the dance floor. Think of it as Mike Relm's DVDJ sets or http://2manydjs. (Radio Soul Wax) meets MTV2.
When:
We do this show once a month at underground parties throughout the U.S. under the banner, Dance Party Magic. Tonight we are doing a very special one-off at NEON.
How it works:
We borrow scenes from hip documentaries, music videos and bootleg films- and use iMovie to edit them to a beat.
Then live, that beat and edited footage is mixed (like a record) along with music from the turntables creating a night club movie with a hip score.
Some times you'll see/hear a song you recognize from artist like Kanye West or Freddie Le Grand but then we flip it by adding (or mashing) other layers of video and beats to keep the party live. Some of our content is produced by: http://www. stemspot. com/
