Wakarusa Festival Job Fair
When: Thursday, May 1, 2008, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: The Granada, 1020 Mass., Lawrence
Cost: Free
Age limit: All ages
Categories: Career Fairs
Description: Wakarusa Festival is hosting a mini-job fair this Thursday at the Granada Theater from 4pm-7pm. Applications will be available at The Granada for the week following the job fair. We will be interviewing for both Volunteer positions and Paid positions for the Festival.
Volunteer Positions:
A volunteer at the Wakarusa Festival would be responsible for working two shifts at the festival in return for a 4 day ticket. (Deposit Required)
This is a great option for those who don't have the cash to shell out for a 4 day pass, but might have the time available to commit to two shifts at the festival
Shifts are assigned as first come-first serve.
(Potentially someone could volunteer Thurs/Fri and have the rest of the weekend to enjoy 80 bands!)
Paid Positions:
Wakarusa Festival will be hiring part-time staff in several different departments:
(Parking, Site, Box office, Loaders, etc.)
Wakarusa Festival would be looking for festival workers interested in working anywhere from WED June 4th-MONDAY June 5th.
