From the promoters: We're doing it once again! Free Comic Book Day 2008 at Astrokitty Comics & More! Woooohoooo!What's FCBD? Well, it's a nearly time-honored tradition that happens across the country (at participating retail centers near you) where you can visit your favorite store (in this case, that's us...right?) and pick up a couple free comic books from our selection of, well, FREE COMICS!That's right, what better opportunity to try out some comics you might not have otherwise tried, bring home some material for someone in your life you'd like to share comic reading with, or just get some free Saturday entertainment...than FREE COMIC BOOK DAY? There is no such "better" opportunity, folks! THIS IS IT!But that's not all...no, no, NO! Though FCBD @ Astrokitty begins at 11am, we'll be running raffles all day long...giving out GRAPHIC NOVELS, T-SHIRTS, HATS, POSTERS, ACTION FIGURES, & MORE!Plus, I would be remiss if I did not mention that all the back issues from our back issue bins will be only a $.25 each ALL DAY LONG!!!HEROCLIX & HORRORCLIX singles will be only $1.oo each ALL DAY LONG, as well!We'll have bins of $2 action figures and all DC Direct and Marvel Legends figures will be "buy one, get one at 30% off"!Also, we're gonna have the following events: (times approx.)COMIC BOOK PICTIONARY: 1pm-2pmUNCANNY X-MEN ALERT BOARD GAME: 2pm-3pmCAPCOM VS.
