Description: In response to the concerns of artists and the continued need for a method of funding the Lawrence Arts Center's gallery program, the LAC will host an open forum to discuss the Art Auction.
Gallery Director Rick Mitchell will give a brief report on the history and current organization of the Auction. This will include recent auction statistics and a description of how funds are used.
Interested artists and art supporters are encouraged to attend. Please come prepared with thoughtful questions and possible strategies for helping to support the Lawrence art community.
