Fleas and Lice (early all-ages show)
with Mouth Sewn Shut / Doomsday Hour
When: Thursday, May 22, 2008, 8 p.m.
Where: The Jackpot Music Hall, 943 Mass., Lawrence
Cost: $6 - $8
Age limit: All ages
Categories: Metal / hardcore, Punk
Description: Get out while it's still light, get your hands "x"ed up and pile in for three DIY punk bands that seem as inclined to rock your face off as to punch you in said visage. Hailing from the Netherlands, Fleas and Lice continue their seemingly endless trek around the world, all in the name of spreading the joys of Swede-style punk and limb-flailin' mosh pits. Accompanied by Mouth Sewn Shut out of Boston and Italy's doomsday, tonight's tunes ought to inspire more than a few of tomorrow's bruises and bumps. With songs like "Drunk White Jesus" and "Rave is Your Grave", may we suggest steel toes. Or some shinguards.
