The Dirtbombs

with Terrible Twos (Detroit) / Dan Sartain

When: Friday, May 23, 9 p.m.

Where: The Bottleneck, 737 N.H., Lawrence

Cost: $11 - $13

Age limit: All ages

Categories: April Fleming Best Bet, Rock

Description: More is more in the world of Detroit's The Dirtbombs. With two drummers, two basses and a soul singer rivaling Ike Turner (Mick Collins, formerly of The Gories), the 'Bombs navigate a broad spectrum of garage rock, punk, glam and classic soul and R&B to bring one of the loudest, most gut-punching shows this side of Iggy Pop. The group's gleeful new album "We Have You Surrounded" addresses a few more worldly matters than previous efforts but hardly loses a step in the ass-kicking/name-taking department.

Opener Terrible Twos is not the local kiddie band fronted by Matt Pryor but rather the hyperactive garage rock outfit from Detroit.

Isn't this show Friday, MAY 23'rd and not Sunday, March 23'rd?
