Punch Bros. featuring Chris Thile

It didn't take long for Nickel Creek frontman/mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile to recover from the breakup of his Grammy-winning band in 2007. In just a few months he was already touring with another act—which first was called The How to Grow a Band, then The Tensions Mountain Boys, before finally settling on Punch Brothers (taken from the Mark Twain short story "Punch, Brothers, Punch!"). Thile teamed with equally youthful, prodigiously gifted bandmates who are among the most in-demand performers in the worlds of bluegrass, folk, and traditional music.
