"The Design Flatfile," co-organized by the H&R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute and AIA Kansas City, exhibits important and innovative architectural design from individuals and firms in the region. Firms include Sabatini Architects of Lawrence, Kansas, Derek Porter Studio of Kansas City, Missouri and HDR Architecture, Inc.The exhibit includes work in three formats - two-dimensional works on paper, digital presentations and project models, ranging from conceptualization to realization. Visitors can peruse the work with the assistance of the Artspace staff.The opening reception is October 17 from 6-8pm. The exhibit runs from October 18-December 13.
