edIT's hard-hitting, room-shaking, digital crunk party music figures to make for one of this year's best hip-hop/electronic shows. Born Edward Ma, edIT began his career in the '90s as the Con Artist. After earning a resident DJ spot at L.A.'s Konkrete Jungle, he began producing for artists like Busdriver and Sole. In 2004, Ma released his glitched-out debut as edIT. "Crying Over Pros for No Reason" won favor with fans of Prefuse 73, Telefon Tel Aviv, and similar cutting-edge electronica artists. Nowadays, edIT runs with L.A.'s Glitch Mob and rocks parties from coast-to-coast with his laptop and live-sampling rig. Also on the touring bill: Resident Anti-Hero's guerrilla hip-hop and Radiohiro's dubstep breaks.
