Babies ain't free—and neither are puppies. Tonight's "Party for the Puppies" features four bitchin' local acts performing for the sake of the Lawrence Humane Society. Headliner Das Furbender isn't quite as German as their name would imply, but the band's fat-bottom funk will rock the schnitzel straight outta yer system. Haulin' Oats is a Hall & Oates tribute band composed of a buncha townies who might just be taking this lark seriously. Rounding out the bill are newcomers Size Love and old-timer DJ Aether.
