"If the circus moved on, would we?" is a solo installation of new works by Molly Murphy. If you're acquainted at all with the Lawrence art scene, you're more than likely familiar with Murphy's work -- her paintings of femme fatales in various states of undress are unmistakable. "If the circus moved on, would we?" is a collection of painted canvases created to fit together in larger asymmetrical wall installations. The work deals with the social implications of addictions and compulsions.Read our recent interview with Molly Murphy, or an older one.
