Tori Amos

with One eskimO

Long before The Dresden Dolls, Tori Amos was the Queen piano songstress who didn't quite fit the Lilith Fair mold. She's maintained that outsider status since her 1992 debut "Little Earthquakes," making cryptic yet compelling records on her own terms. Her 23-song ninth studio record "American Doll Posse" covers a ton of ground; highlights include Tori referring to herself as a "MILF." Moreso than any of her previous releases, Amos lets go of her girl-with-a-piano image and enlists a rocking band to pull off a glitzy concept album that Elton John would totally dig.
