From the bandThe Creature Comforts return for one night to Record Bar in Kansas City, MO.

Formed in 1997 in Lawrence Kansas, this indie pop four piece band recalls the post-punk sound that helped fuel the late 1980's and early 1990's pop rock explosion. The band's sound is drawn from influences including The Replacements, Elvis Costello, The Kinks, Cheap Trick and The Zombies. Their debut record, The Politics of Pop was praised by Pitch Weekly and its readers as the Album Of The Year and the lead track was selected as the Song Of The Year. The band was also named Band Of The Year at the 2000 Kansas City Music Awards (Klammies).

Christopher Tolle, Billy Brimblecom Jr., Brian Everard, and JD Warnock will play their first show together as The Creature Comforts since 2002 on Saturday June 20th Kansas City's Record Bar. The setlist will span from the very beginning to the very end of the band's catalogue.
