Our podcast preview of the show features an interview with the full band.
With just days' notice and no promo whatsoever, Lawrence's celebrated emo-rock combo The Get Up Kids got back together over Christmas for their first show in over three years, after having split in July '05. The good vibes spilled over into plans for scattered tour dates to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the group's fan-favorite album "Something to Write Home About." With festival dates and a trip to Alaska on the horizon, the group will gets going with tonight's show at Liberty Hall—it's first Lawrence performance since 2006.
