Lt. Gov. Parkinson will visit the University to discuss his advocacy for responsible energy policy. As co-chair of the Kansas Energy Council, chair of the Kansas Wind Working Group, and member of Governor Sebelius’ Kansas Energy and Environmental Policy Advisory Group, Parkinson is constantly working on policies and initiatives which balance efforts for sustainability and environmental protection with successful economic policy. Parkinson will address these and other issues in his speech.
