Death Vessel is the alias of Rhode Island-based singer/songwriter Joel Thibodeau. His 2008 release "Nothing Is Precious Enough For Us" came out on Sub Pop Records and turned a lot of heads thanks to his unique soprano voice. Paired with sublime folk instrumentation and the occasional rock flare-up, Thibodeau's songwriting recalls artists like Jose Gonzalez and Band of Horses while maintaining a unique identity.
