Since they signed on to Brad Nowell's Skunk Records label as teenagers, SoCal's Slightly Stoopid has grown from a goofy skatepunk band to a still-goofy-yet accomplished punk-reggae act. Though they've yet to put out an album unreplete with pot references, the group reaches beyond the stoner nation to attract fans of easy-groove acts like Jack Johnson and G. Love. They're also a reputable jam act, stretching out songs in the live setting and occasionally going acoustic for the really mellow heads.
