Forget about everything you think you know about New Orleans music: Generationals isn't it. Neither zydeco nor blues figure into the Big Easy group's shiny happy pop tunes, which are as cheery and vibrant as the oldies dial and as hip and catchy as modern bands like MGMT or The New Pornographers. The group's new disc "Con Law" has some bonafide hits on it — in spirit if not reality.
