The singer/songwriter known as St. Vincent made minds spin with her second album "Actor." Formerly a guitarist for Sufjan Stevens and The Polyphonic Spree, Annie Clark crammed more pathos into a CD-sized package than Joanna Newsom. Evoking artists like Kate Bush and Feist (but sounding entirely unique), Clark 's unorthodox guitar style and adventurous arrangements never cease to amaze.
