Trivial matters: Live games at Lawrence bars, restaurants gain momentum
Every Tuesday is Quiz Night at Johnny’s Tavern West in Lawrence. This is a pub quiz, a game where you and your team try to answer trivia questions.
To play: Meet your friends at Johnny’s West, and form a quiz team as large as you choose. Each team gets an answer booklet, and Quizmaster Scotty Mack will then dazzle you with eight rounds of trivia questions. Correctly answer as many as you can to score points.
Each round is different: There are multiple choice rounds, a fill-in-the-blank round, and, of course, the triple-or-nothing Wipe Out round. It’s always anybody’s game until the end.
Players can always expect plenty of questions on current events, Hollywood gossip, and anything from pop culture to high culture.
The quiz is free, and open to all ages.
Oh, and you can win money. Twenty-five bones, to be exact.
Every second and fourth Wednesday at Johnny's North. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at Johnny's West.

Please note: Trivia night at Johnny's West is held on the first and third Tuesday of every month, and at Johnny's West on the second and fourth Wednesday.
