Join us on Saturday, January 30th as the ever-popular Paul Mesner and his team of puppeteers return to the Lawrence Arts Center to benefit the Arts-Based Preschool Scholarship Fund. This year, the professional puppet theater company presents a collection of classic folk tales from Africa and the Caribbean, adapted by Paul Mesner himself. The common denominator is Anansi, the trickster spider, who sometimes finds himself getting tricked. Two shows will be performed, one at 10am and one at 1pm; tickets are on sale now. This delightful show is perfect for children ages 3 and older (and grownups will enjoy it, too). Sponsored by Black Hills Energy.
