Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin has been the pride of Springfield, Mo., ever since releasing its debut album "Broom" in 2005 to much praise from Pitchfork Media and the indie-rock blogosphere. Even more so than that record, the group's 2008 release "Pershing" justified the hype with pitch-perfect indie pop busting at the seams with sunny hooks. Musical points of reference range from Death Cab for Cutie to Beulah to The Shins, but the young group is quickly outpacing the pack. Watch highlights from their last show in Lawrence on Turnpike.
