Eisley

The "Mild Mild Midwest Tour" with The Lion & The Sail / Christie DuPree

Record Bar

This show marks Eisley's first tour since exiting their deal with Warner Music (Eisley">more on that here). The band still fields three sisters (and two guys) on the offensive line with a man-rock backfield to create a "heart-crushing mix of distorted British pedal rock and US alternative guitar pop." The Texas band is embarking on its sixth headlining tour on the heels of a supporting slot for Coldplay's "A Rush of Blood to the Head" tour. Like their Brit buds, Eisley exhibits an aptitude for stadium-sized anthems with lyrics known to the bulk of its audiences. Rilo Kiley might be the closest point of references for American audiences, or Heart if you happen to be taking your daughter to this show. Eisley promises a swashbuckling combination of early works and and unreleased precociouswoon jams on its the tour.
