The Harvey Girls are actually a guy and a girl - Hiram Lucke and Melissa Rodenbeek - who fell in love, got married, and decided to start a band here in Larry. They've since moved to Portland, but the duo is still has a deft touch with combining electronic programming with live instrumentation to create enticing experimental soundscapes and off-the-beaten path melodies.
A new release from The Danny Pound Band will be toasted with a complete live play-through. The veteran Lawrence songwriter writes in a rootsy style reminiscent of Neil Young and The Rolling Stones. Check out our full preview of his latest album.
