Jam veterans "moe." (they insist on the dang period) caravan through Lawrence with a 20-years-and-running head of steam. The group's music is all about improvisation and high energy built around southern-rock-tinged songs with less noodling than your typical jam act. While moe. is less prone to indulgent excursions than, say, Phish or String Cheese Incident, the group has nevertheless inspired its followers - a.k.a. "moe.rons" - to follow it across the country and trade live recordings with insatiable zeal.
