Barely a week removed from being punished by GWAR, the stage at The Granada, 1020 Mass., will be put to another test tonight. The Mutaytor brings an 11-piece modern analog and electronic dance orchestra and 15 performance artists to Lawrence.
This all ages show features choreographed dance acts, aerial performances, pyrotechnics and big screen visuals combined with a self-described progressive, electronic art rock band.
The Mutaytor is a well-traveled ensemble with roots from The Black Rock Desert at the Burning Man Arts Festival. This “post-modern rock circus” will have belly dancers, acrobats and giant monsters among other acts. The band has released three records with more on the way.
