Final “Eggs and Issues” Breakfast Offers Insight into Local Legislative Priorities

The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will host its final “Eggs and Issues” breakfast from 8 – 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23 in the Alton Ballroom at Pachamama’s.

Eight local legislators are participating in the event, making a brief presentation before talking directly with attendees. Confirmed participants are:

State Senator Marci Francisco (D, District 2)
State Senator and Senate Minority Whip Tom Holland (D, District 3)
State Representative and House Minority Leader Paul Davis (D, District 46)
State Representative Barbara Ballard (D, District 44)
State Representative TerriLois Gregory (R, District 10)
State Representative Tom Sloan (R, District 45)
State Representative Ann Mah (D, District 53) and
State Representative Anthony Brown (R, District 38.)

Eggs & Issues is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for Chamber of Commerce members and $20 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased online at until noon Friday, April 22. For more information, contact Adam Handshy at or 865-4427.
