Tonight, The Granada, 1020 Mass., showcases some catchy pop/rock music from A Good Fight, the pride of Fayetteville, Ark. The band is touring in support their 2010 self-titled album, which was a mix of traditional pop lyricism, strong hooks and squeaky clean production coupled with some vocal work from Eddie Love. They are joined by Amsterdam, a six-piece act from Liverpool. Despite the band's name and country of origin discrepancy, the combination of rollicking, sing-a-long style sea shanties solidify the band as strictly British within five minutes of listening to them. Lawrence's The Faded Age opens the show. Lead by Jack Lange, the band plays some upbeat, California-punk influenced rock music. The whole shebang costs $3 and is open for all ages. Doors open at 8 p.m.
