Meet us at the Heartland Community Health Center parking lot just north of New York and E 7th St.
Our cleanup will be based at the east promenade of SpringHill Suites.
What to wear:
-closed toe shoes, work gloves, long pants, long sleeves
Optional to bring:
-small shovels, wire cutters, buckets for easy hauling of heavy items
Friends of the Kaw will provide trash bags, water, soda, and snacks.
SpringHill Suites is providing a dumpster for all trash collection and
Sunflower Recycling is providing recycling service for all recyclables!
In 2012 The Kansas River was adopted into the National Water Trail System as well as making the top ten list of American River’s Most Endangered Rivers.

Due to the weather forecast for Sunday, this event has been moved up to December 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
