NaNoWriMo Wrap Up Celebration

You did it! 50,000 words and untold cups of coffee and crumpled sheets of paper later, you have crossed the finish line and now it's time to celebrate! Or maybe you didn't finish this year, but you want to cry in your beer a little bit and get fired up to succeed next year. Or maybe you just want to see some great authors!

All are invited!

At the wrap-up celebration in the Pachamama's Alton Ballroom, hear from local authors Jen Mann (author of "I Just Want to Pee Alone" and "People I Want to Punch in the Throat" blog) and Mary O'Connell (award-winning author of "Living with Saints" and "The Sharp Time") on the writing process, editing, finding an agent, and get some info on both self-publishing and traditional publishing. There will also be time to share with others about your experience and keep the networking opportunities going. The bar will be open, but the event is teen-friendly for the younger NaNo crowd. (We suggest anyone 16 or under come with an adult.)

Saturday, Nov. 30

7:30 p.m.
