HOYT - Everyone is invited to a benefit lunch, dinner, and dance beginning at 11 a.m. Sept.28, at the Hoyt Community Senior Citizen’s Center.
The free will offering event is to help Kim Wege Lynch with expenses as she undergoes cancer treatment. Included in the day’s activities will be a taco and potato bar, as well as a silent and live auction and lots of music.
Lynch, 52, loves people and will welcome everyone who joins her on this day. There will be Karokee and dancing, two things Lynch enjoys. She was diagnosed with cancer in November 2012 and funds from the benefit will go to help with travel, food and expenses incurred during frequent trips to Topeka for medical treatment.
The Kim Lynch Benefit account has been set up at the Denision State Banks, for those who wish to make a contribution.
