A free workshop for adults and youth from the Topeka-Lawrence-Kansas City area to learn about suicide bereavement, and how to help yourself or people you care about who have lost loved ones to suicide. 

The workshop includes:
~ Viewing "The Journey," this year's 30-minute national broadcast from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), recognizing loved ones lost to suicide
~ Honoring those we have lost to suicide by sharing their names, a photo, a story, and encouraging random acts of kindness in their honor
~ Discussion lead by a local panel including survivors of suicide loss and representatives of bereavement supports
~ Breakout groups for youth, male-identified, and female-identified participants to discuss healing
~ Information about key bereavement support services
~ Poetry and music

Participants will gain comfort and understanding through stories of healing and hope.
