The Farmers Market offers a wide array of products including vegetable plants, bedding plants, asparagus, rhubarb, greens, lettuces, herbs, cut flower bouquets, baked goods, meat, prepared foods, crafts, and bodycare products. The market is the oldest farmers' market in Kansas. More than 70 vendors, including eight new vendors, have signed up to participate. It is a producer-only market, which means that everything offered at market is produced by vendors and is homegrown or handmade in northeast Kansas. No wholesale resellers are allowed. The weekday market is open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the parking lot at 1020 Vt.
